Hi, I’m Patrick. I work to create modern functional websites that don’t break the bank. My aim is to make this your one stop shop for your website, including design and development as well as continued support and maintenance packages. If you already have a site and need it updated or redone I can help with that too. Please take a look around and get to know me better!
Born and Raised in Victoria BC, I could think of no better place to live and work than our own little slice of Canadian Paradise. I attended school at a local technical college called Q College where I learned the ins-and-outs of growing a freelance website development business. Q College emphasized practical hands on learning with all the instructors being active professionals in their own fields. I graduated in 2016 with a diploma in website development and digital marketing ,and I have been working in the field ever since.
In order to set myself apart from other Development companies, I have made it my mission to provide practical website development services at an affordable rate for small businesses and local professionals. Not everyone has thousands of dollars to invest into a flashy website, and that’s where I come in. My goal is to provide small businesses with the tools they need to grow their web presence without the big price tag. I have set processes and am able to provide accurate estimates beforehand so there are no surprises when it comes to billing. Although I enjoy working with local Vancouver Island companies, I am open to all projects so do not hesitate to shoot me a message!
Building From The Ground Up
Working with the latest content management systems I can build you a site up from scratch, but that’s not all. I can also provide digital marketing strategies and social media management. I always build websites with search engine optimization in mind, so you’ll get the most out of your website.
I mainly develop in WordPress using premium themes. These themes provide a framework in which to build your site, eliminating the need for hours of coding. Each theme can be fully customized meaning your website will always be unique.
In order to make this process affordable for the clients, most sites are developed under an hourly rate of $35/hr with free estimates given beforehand.
Feel free to contact me with a description of your site for a free estimate today!
The average small business website (up to 10 pages) including Search Engine Optimization and three months of continued support costs less than $650!
*Please note continued support includes WordPress theme and plugin updates and minor edits.
A.In today’s world, having a website for your small business or professional practice is more important than ever. Whenever a potential customer needs information on your business the first thing they are going to do is type your name into google. If nothing pops up, that immediately sends a message to that person, and not a good one. Whenever I can’t find a business online I start to think that they aren’t taking their work seriously or that their business is no longer active. It is so important that every business has at least a brochure website that tells people basic information like location and hours of operation. With this in mind, I understand that not everyone can afford to hire a website development agency that’s going to charge you upwards of $1000 for a basic site. This is why I’ve made it my mission to provide small businesses with affordable website development services. I’ve streamlined my development process, and through the use of WordPress and premium themes I can create modern and functional websites without breaking the bank.
A. I love Vancouver Island! I was born and raised in Victoria BC and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. When I am able to help a local business grow I feel like I’m giving a little bit back to the place I love so much. Also, working locally allows for easier communication with face to face meetings and/or phone calls. Just because I’m a west coaster doesn’t mean I’m not open to all kinds of projects though, so do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!
A. There are a number of variables that can affect how long it takes to get your site up and running. The two main factors being the size of the website (number of pages) and whether or not the content for the site is ready to go. The content includes images to be used on the site and all the text write-ups for the various pages. I’m happy to help gather good quality images to use, but I request that clients write their own content as you are the person who knows your business best. With this in mind, most brochure websites (5-10 pages) take 3-4 weeks to get up and running. However, if you’re a keener and have all the content ready to go right away, you’re only looking at about 2 weeks till your site is live.
